1972 foi o ano em que se produziram mais carrinhas bay window

alterações estéticas

a nível estético, as principais mudanças centram-se na alteração para as lentes maiores na traseira, com inclusão das luzes de marcha atrás

até '71

alterações estéticas

foi em '72 que as grelhas de refrigeração passaram a ter um formato mais rectangular

a tampa do depósito de gasolina foi mudado para uma posição mais recuada
(sendo a única early bay a ter naquele local e só repetido com tampa no modelo de '73)

foi também o primeiro modelo a ter rebordo na dogleg (peça específica para este ano)
